A complete beginner, near beginner and improvers class.

We come together for warm-ups /Qigong (breathing exercises). Near beginners and improvers practice 4 step, 16 step(warm-up / warm-down). Improvers work on their 24 step.

Beginners look on in awe, and wonder if they will ever be able to achieve the graceful, flowing movement that is Tai Chi.
At first they feel clumsy and wooden as they copy their first moves and wonder if they will ever "get it". For me as their teacher it is wonderful to see them slowly improving, relaxing into the moves and beginning to realize the benefits they are achieving.

Tai Chi (Tai Chi Ch'uan, Taiji or Taijiquan) means "supreme ultimate fist", improving and progressing toward the unlimited.

It can be practised by people of all ages and most physical conditions.  As a non-impact exercise it strengthens the body without putting a strain on the joints.  Balance, circulation and co-ordination are all improved, both sides of the brain are stimulated.

"Meditation in motion". In this stressful world, to develop a feeling of relaxation and well-being, Tai Chi is indeed the "Master".

"A thought is energy moving its intention into reality".
