Abide at the centre of your being;
for the more you leave it, the less you learn...
The way to do is to be.
Lao Tzu.
This was my first class 11 years ago, and I feel very privileged to have taught and met so many nice people.
A class changes and evolves over the years as people grow. Some move on, some stay, some come just for the exercise , and for some Tai Chi changes their lives.
In this class we have got advanced, improvers, and beginners, although we really know that we are all beginners in Tai Chi.
We have various warm-ups, Qigong (breathing exercises), sword routines 16; 32; and now learning 42 sword, stick and fan routines, and Tai Chi forms, 4 step for beginners, 8; 16; warm-up / warm-down; 24; 42 and 88 step yang style. Each person concentrating on their own particular form, in groups or together.
At the end of each lesson we make a circle and go into a 16 step (warm-up / warm-down). A very relaxing way to finish the class.
